STUDY ON DISLOCATION AND EXTRACTION OF MATERIAL FROM THE RIVER BED

In 2020, Zavod za vodoprivredu has developed 2 series of Studies on dislocation and extraction of material from the river bed.

Most endangered locations of alluvial deposit on Bosna, Drina, Zalomka and Sušica rivers were identified by geodetic surveying and site visits. For the proper and detailed consideration of all hydrological and morphological characteristics of water courses on the above mentioned locations, the hydraulic analyses and mathematical modeling for natural status and status after dislocation and extraction of material from the river bed was performed.

During June 2020, 9 studies were developed in Zavod za vodoprivredu. Technical solutions for dislocation and extraction of material from the river bed were developed for 9 locations, 8 of them for Bosna river and 1 for Drina river.

Bosna river:

- - 1. „Bosnice“ location, situated c/a 7 km upstream of Bosna river confluence with Sava river, on Samac municipality territory. Deposit was disposed in the minor river bed on the right bank and it should be removed on section L=706,00m long.
    2. „Burum and Barićka“ location, situated on Bosna river lower course, on Šamac municipality territory, c/a 5,40 km upstream of the Bosna river mouth into the Sava river. Alluvial deposit is located in minor river bed along the right bank of the river, partial on upstream and downstream profiles on the left bank as well. It is necessary to remove sandbars at this location on section L=2.560,00m long.
    3. „Gornje polјe“ location is on Bosna river, on Modriča municipality territory, on location c/a 20 km upstream of Bosna river mouth into the Sava river. Sandbar is on the right bank and should be removed on section L=2.550,00m long.
    4. „Modriča mostovi“ location, situated on the Bosna river upper course, Modriča municipality, c/a 20 km from the Bosna river mouth into the Sava river. Sandbar is on the left bank and should be removed on section L=1.900,00m long.
    5. „Botajica“ location, is located at the Botajica place, located in the Bosna lower course, on Modriča municipality territory, c/a 32 km upstream of the Bosna river mouth into the Sava river. Sediment for dislocation is in minor river bed at the left bank and should be removed on section L=765,00m.
    6. „Vranjak“ location, on Bosna river, c/a 31 km upstream of the Bosna river mouth to the Sava river, Modriča municipality territory. Deposit is located in minor river bed on the right bank and should be removed on section L=660,00m.
    1. ,,Prudovi“ location, on the Bosna river, c/a 33 km upstream from the Bosna river mouth to the Sava, Modriča municipality territory. Deposit upstream of the Bosna river mouth to the Sava river, on Modriča municipality territory. Deposit should be removed on section L=618,00m long.
    2. „Grapska” location, on the Bosna river, c/a 59 km upstream of the Bosna river mouth to the Sava river, Doboj municipality territory. Deposit should be removed on section L=801,00m long.

Drina river:

- - 1. „Međaši“ location, at the Međaši local community, c/a 10 km upstream of Drina river mouth to the Sava river, on Bijeljina city territory. Deposit for dislocation is within the minor river bed at the left bank and should be removed, on section L=1.100m long.

Other series of the Study development, covers period September and October in 2020. On that occasion, technical solution for dislocation and extraction of material from the watercourse are developed on 13 locations as follows:

- - - 3 on the Drina river,
    - 1 on the Sušica river,
    - 2 on the Zalomka river,
    - 7 on the Bosna river.

Drina river:

- - 1. „Debela Međa“ location, is c/a se 25,00 km downstream of HPP on territory of Zvornik city. Deposit for dislocation is in minor river bed at the left bank and should be removed on section L=551,00m long.
    2. „Janja“ location, is c/a 3,2 km upstream of the Janja river mouth into the Drina river on territory of Bijeljina city. Deposit for dislocation is in minor river bed at the left bank and should be removed on section L=448,00m long.
    3. „Topola“ location, is c/a 31 km upstream of „Zvornik“ HPP, Bratunac municipality. Deposit that should be removed on section L=349,00m long in the minor river bed at the left bank.

Sušica river:

- - 1. „Jazina“ location, at the Jazina settlement, located in the lower Sušica river course, on territory of Trebinje city, c/a 2,50 km upstream of the Sušica river mouth into the Trebisnjica river. Deposit should be removed on section L=159,00m long.

Zalomka river:

- - 1. „Kifino Selo“ location, at Kifino selo village on Nevesinje municipality territory. Deposit that should be removed is on section L=340,00m long;
    2. „Ljeskovik“ location, in the Budisavlje settlement, Nevesinje municipality, c/a 3,00 km upstream of the Drežanjka river mouth into the Zalomka river on Nevesinje territory. Deposit should be removed on section L=539,00m long.

Bosna river:

- - 1. „Mlinište“ location is c/a 9,00 km upstream of the Bosna river mouth into the Sava river on Šamac municipality territory. Deposit should be removed on section L=494,00m long;
    2. „Šešlije“ location, c/a 52 km upstream of the Bosna river mouth into the Sava river, Doboj city territory. Deposit should be removed on section L=945,00m long.
    3. „Pijeskovi“ location at the beginning of the lower course of the Bosna river, Doboj city territory, c/a 300m downstream of the Spreca river mouth into the Bosna. Deposit to be removed is on section L=729,00m long.
    4. „Bušletić“ location is immediately downstream of the Lukavica river mouth into Bosna river, Doboj city territory. Deposit to be se removed is on section L=660,00m long.
    5. „Magistrala“ location, is c/a 500 m upstream of the Velika rijeka mouth into the Bosna river on territory of Modriča municipality. Deposit should be removed on section L=952,00m long.
    6. „Miloševačko polje“ location, in lower course of the Bosna river, on territory of Vukosavlje and Modriča municipalities, c/a 11 km upstream of the Bosna river mouth into the Sava river. Deposit is on section L=1.250,00m long.
    7. „Mostovi“ location, is c/a 65 km upstream of the Bosna river mouth into the Sava river, Doboj city territory. Deposit is on section L=868,00m long.
